Newly hatched chick has a protrusion
I had a chick hatch yesterday with a protrusion (from its vent?). It was bleeding yesterday and was brighter red. This morning we removed the other chicks (they were pecking the protrusion) and left this one in the incubator. The chick has been sleeping since then (about 1.5 hrs ago). Turkey hatchling prolapse
I just bought a hatchling turkey two days ago and found out the poor thing had a prolapse. For now all I used on it was 100% grapeseed oil and some dawn and it seems to help (its all i had until i can get the right stuff for it tomorrow.) I just want to make sure using that wouldn’t hurt my baby
