    Explain the head feathers to me please!

    Bantam silkie crossbreeds 3 week old:So can someone explain to me what is up with their head feathers? Are they having a hard time molting do I need to add more protein? I’m sure it’s a silkie thing but also what they are crossbreed with but possibly roo vs pullet hairs! And no they are not...

    cute little BYC

    I picked up a new hen today that is a total mutt but I think she's so pretty. She's on the small side, has 5 toes, feathered toes and shanks, and a head crest. the crest is bigger than my crested cream legbars. I feel like she's a Faverolle-Ameraucana-?? cross but I don't know much about head...
