    Favorite Plants for Inside the Coop

    Hello BYC, Apologies if this is a repeat question.. What’s your favorite types of plants to put inside the coop? Heard that Rosemary, Mint and Lavender can be used and it deters bugs. I don’t want to plant anything that’s poisonous or that they will gobble up.

    Summer enclosure updates

    I am attempting to grow some duck friendly plants inside my enclosure this year to offer more enrichment to my ladies. I put in a garden bed today including oregano, lavender, and French marigolds. If it goes well I’ll add sage. I also have boxes of various mint outside their reach. Hopefully...

    Dying plants

    Hi, I was buying some plants for my new herb garden in Walmart and I saw a bunch of dying/dead plants being thrown out. I hated the thought of that so I asked the manager if I could have them and she said yes. So, now I have 18 very sad looking plants and I don’t have a clue what to do to help...
