Runner duck bald patch?
My Runner duck Storm is 6 months old and I noticed this bald patch around her eyes and down her neck. She's the only one with the bald patch, my other girls and boys are fine. I have also noticed my ducks are molting their feathers, along with my chickens, which I suppose is down to it coming up...- MolliMonster99

Molting lethargy or something else
One of my female runner ducks, Anise, is in full molt. During this molt she has been super cranky (repeatedly nipping at the other ducks) and lethargic. I read that is expected. Solitary confinement or keeping a molting duck out of the rain/wind?
I'm of the opinion that solitary confinement is really stressful for a duck, but today we are expecting rain/wind/cold so I put my molting duck in the the predator proof duck house with some water/nutridrench, cat food/duck food and a small container of leatherjackets (daddy long legs larvae)...- austroberta
