    Chicken math got me again!!!

I shouldn’t have but I did...I walked by the chicken bins and I found Sapphire Gems. So of course I had to get them! I got six and the man was so nice he gave my son a chicken just for him to take care of. His kindness made my boy’s day and he is so excited.

Hello, This is my first time posting but have been reading a lot in these forums for the last 5 months and love it! I am a first time chicken owner. My question is when I bought my girl London, she was sold as a Sapphire Olive Egger. Well...she is now 17 weeks old and began laying yesterday...

    Hatchery Olive Eggers

i just want to warm everyone that the sapphire olive eggers sold by Hoover’s hatchery are not true olive eggers. I paid nearly $8 a bird and only one out of three lays olive eggs. One lays brown and one lays blue. They’re really just easter eggers with a fancy name.

How do I feed my now blind pullet?

A terrible accident happened today involving a pullet, I don't know how old she is but at least a few months. At least one eye is gone, and she won't open either eyelids so I don't know about the other, but basically, I don't know how to feed her. She's probably in pain, she's just been sleeping...
