Should I separate a broody hen from her flock?
Hello! I am asking this question on behalf of a friend of mine who is new to chickens. She isn't on BYC, but I'm working on that;). One of her BO hens went broody and she is considering letting her hatch some chicks. I'm helping her the best I can but I don't know the answer to one of her...- PioneerChicks

Do I need to separate more then one brooding hen
Hello All; I have several hens brooding at the same time and was wondering if I need to separate them from each other? The hens are brooding in the same coop but in their own nests. I was wondering if when babies hatch then would each hen tend to their own or will the girls attack other chicks...- Sheeba
