silver gray dorking

I'm feeling a little silly. The chick I thought was my mystery chick has been identified as one of two Ameraurcanas. They have very different coloring, but both have muffs and beards. The pictures below (and the photo from McMurray Hatchery) are of the mystery chick which I believe is a Dorking...

I have investigated both breeds (Golden Cuckoo Maran & Silver Gray Dorking) for a while but they both seem like a great choice for my homestead (flock-friendly, predator savvy, and docile). Which breed should I pick? Has anyone had one of these breeds before?
