    Whats the maximum ammount of chickens you guys are able to care for yourselves? And how long does it take to feed/water/clean the flock and the coops? I've heard of some small farms where one person cares for 500 birds , but I have no idea if thats comfortable or if thats extremely close to...

    Thanks for adding me, my name is River. We have 8 rhode islands and we think laying time is getting very close. I was raised in alabama on a very large "backyard" farm lol. Im a mechanic by trade and small farming has always been a dream so were getin it goin. Cant wait to meet all yall.
