I have two splash ameracaunas that are twelve weeks old and I’m still not sure I’ve sexed them correctly. I THINK I’ve got a hen and a rooster, but possibly two hens?? Anyone wanna take a guess? These aren’t great photos bc they’re pretty skittish, but I tried to get a good sight of their combs...
Ok I posted this bird at 10 weeks and everybody said pullet now it’s 13weeks (3 months) old and I’m questioning that. Any insight I know Ameracaunas mature differently.
Hey there! I got some new Splash Ameracauna chicks the other day and I'm having a hard time telling if they are male or female. They are approximately 4 weeks old. Their beaks and nostrils look abnormally large to me but maybe that's just the breed. What do you guys think?
