New ducks too scared of us is this normal?
Hi all We've had chickens for a while and this weekend we got 3 indian runner ducks to join the family. I think they are about 15 weeks old. What I'm surprised about is how absolutely terrified they are of us, especially compared to how chickens are when we first bring them home. The ducks... -

timid behaviour in 2/14 quail
i have 14 coturnix quail of mixed colours, approx 2wks old. my two darkest coloured birds are timid compared to the others. they just don't like being touched or handled, while the rest allow me to handle them without any fuss at all. they're even happy to let me pet them. they're all the same...
