bumblefoot and nail growth out of toenail?
I noticed my hen (about 5 or 6 years) limping and after quick inspection she had bumblefoot... they next day I treated it and I believe removed the kernal. however once i was looking at the soaked clean foot more I noticed a hard dark, oval growth on the bottom on the middle toe nail. I think my duck is a mutant...
A while ago I noticed my duck seemed to have an extra toenail growing from her middle toenail. I didn't think much of it at the time. But now she seems to have grown a small toe from beneath her middle toe with a toenail (see picture). Thoughts??
