    Newcastle transmission distance?

    I’m starting to think my bird may have Newcastle. My next door neighbor recently brought home some new ducks and I’m considering the possibility they had something. Our birds never intermingle, but they are about 40 yards away or so. Could Newcastle be transmitted by the air that far?

    Hello, I have a happy, seemingly healthy young chick born mid April. She showed a few black spots on her comb. One quickly became inflamed and scabbed over.
