    Quail ear canal is impacted with dry wax

    One ear canal on my Coturnix hen is impacted with wax. Her eyes are watery and she nods off a lot, but otherwise will eat and drink. Is it safe to irrigate her ear canal? What's the best way to clean it?

    It’s a miracle! One egg that fell and cracked 1 week before hatch day and covered in wax for protection has hatched today!

    :clapJust like to say that wax works if your egg cracks before hatching! So please don’t discard eggs that can live! It’s a miracle

    Cracked egg sealed with wax... advice?

    So through a series of unfortunate events, one of my incubating quail eggs got pretty badly dented (bracubation, if you know you know), but the membrane wasn't broken. I sealed it with candle wax, but couldn't get the dent out without breaking the membrane. This happened day 5 and it's day six...
