    silkie’s skin issues

    My silkie just started having this white crusty layer of skin near her ear and towards her eye about 1 to 2 weeks ago. Any suggestions on what it is and what I should do? It’s not very cold here, all the other chickens seem fine etc. I have attached pics. Thanks for all advice!

    no beak

    hello, I have a hen is about two years old and lost her beak (has the new nickname toothless) in a fight with a possum! she doesn't seem to be in pain and I'm feeding her wet feed and mushed up worms. any tips? am I doing the right thing?

    What is your daily routine?

    I've only had my flock of six for a week and I'm curious as to how everyone takes care of their birds. I change out their water and make sure they have food. I do a head count and make sure the coop is still okay. Am I supposed to look for mites everyday? Check their crops everyday? Etc.

    Hen's getting worse

    I have a 19 week old hen, that caught coccidiosis about 3 weeks ago, I treated her, she got much better, but has been going very downhill since. She's still showing signs of coccidiosis, but she also can't walk much anymore and refuses to eat or drink.. I don't know if there's anything I can...
