Gryphons and their masters have flew for centuries together. But years ago a war broke out upon the land of Alania, we won but for a terrible price. May of the riders and gryphons were either killed or taken prisoners by Gillithun, a dark and terrible person who despises those who befriend gryphons. Cities, towns and villages were destroyed that day. Those who survived salvaged what they could and rebuilt the main city and built a great wall around it to keep out the enemies. But the gear city soon became corrupt and no longer let anyone come in or out and those who tried to leave were punished. Soon gryphons were banished from the city, hoping that would keep Gillithun from attacking Alania again. Some riders listened and let their gryphons out of the city, others hid their gryphons in their houses and under the city and few spoke up and demanded gryphons live freely in the city but they were banished to the Fallen Mountains. Nobody has tried to free the gryphons again since.

Banished Rider- they were banished for trying to save the gryphons and now live in the Fallen Mountains with their gryphons free of laws and slavery, but constantly fighting against the dangers of the mountains.
Slave- riders that were captured and enslaved by Gillithun their gryphons were enslaved as well
