¿?¿Dog Food?¿?

I came across this artical that said to increse egg production, you should feed your chicks dog food.
What does everyone here at BYC think about this?
Is there any truth to it?

Not sure the accuracy of dog food increasing egg production - But... I do include a high quality natural salmon and rice dog food in with their treat/mash mix. However, it is only as a treat and only a small amount to help increase the protein levels they are getting in the winter. My girls are laying better than they were before, but I would not necessarily attribute it Only to the dog food.
