Fifty years ago War happened, the final one to end all of civilization.... or so they thought. After the war Eddie, or otherwise known as 'King Edward' in the history books, was the first man to step forward in the destruction and restart civilization. Everything went smooth in the beginning. Survivors from all around came in to help with rebuilding. Then he changed. Eddie wanted a palace sized home built and when it was finished claimed himself as sole heir to the throne. Many people worshiped him, others didn't. The others viewed his ideas as 'cruel' and 'irrational' to human beings. People thought he was great... and some people didn't. In the perspective of some people he knew how to handle situations and punish people correctly. Others saw him as corrupt. His rules were sometimes harsh and critical of certain beliefs. The day King Edward went to marry a man that the Rebels see as a savior, Gravier, shot and killed King Edward. Gravier was banished by the new king and things turned for the worse. Guns were gathered and carried to the, what people called, Metal Flame. Thousands of ammunition and weaponry was destroyed that night. Guns are now a rare and highly illegal item in the Rebels and Kingdom. A new leader took over for the Rebels and to keep peace, the Rebels being outnumbered greatly, Rebel Leader Larne signed a contract with the new king proclaiming that Rebels were not allowed in Kingdom territory, weekly payments from each household was to be payed, and the King may take any people he found valuable in the Rebels and bring them to his kingdom. No one is quite sure on the last one and no one bothers to question him. Larne passed away a few months afterwards of pneumonia. Many people worshiped King Edward in the Kingdom side and despise the Rebels and their 'twisted' ways. The Rebels are a more approachable side of civilization, though many are poor and do what they can to get by.
-ᴡʜᴀᴛ ɪs ᴛʜɪs ᴀʙᴏᴜᴛ?
This Role Play is about the two neighboring society's and their different ways of life. The Kingdom: (Not actually a big fancy palace full of knights in shining armor, but more of greedy leaders and their many odd rules.) People outside of The Kingdom despise anyone who lives there, more of a richer side with far more population and better living. The Rebels are people with more moral and kindness towards others. A lot in poverty and unlike the Kingdom. The Kingdom population has many built homes, established schools and a doctor. Many Rebels live in make shift homes. Many made out of animal hides, others made out old tents found in the destroyed cities miles away and in workable states. Their doctor is a old woman who knows how to treat illness from the beauty of nature. The two neighboring groups live in vast empty land full of thriving livestock and surrounding forests. The cities of the forgotten past are hardly visited and a full two day travel. One group rumored among the two places, Called the New Peoples, lives like the city was before. With currency and cars. But survivors are randomly popping up into the Rebels and Kingdom. Rumor has it they were attacked and all the people who were left behind were killed. But by who? How could so many people be wiped out at once?
