Have you had problem of there tail feathers breaking from hitting the ground?
No problems with feathers breaking, but with the huge amount of rain we've been having here in TN the tails are muddy and dirty. Surprisingly, once the sun comes out again, the roos do a good job of cleaning themselves. Normally, my flock is free range but we've been having predator problems lately so the flock has been locked in a large poultry yard. Any kind of confinement is bad for the birds' beauty as they are better able to stay clean out and about.Have you had problem of there tail feathers breaking from hitting the ground?
