(1) I have lived with chickens on my parents farm for my entire life

(2) I currently have 12 chickens

(3) oh a total mix when my family started out with buying some aracanas, lakenvelders, partridge rocks, and others that I do not remember the breed name of and then they totally interbread

(4) I just love them and of course their eggs as well
(5) I have pigeons that I attempt to "breed" but actually they breed themselves 🕊

(6) we are a family of 4 off grid homesteaders and gardeners with 5 cows and one dog but we are looking to adopt a puppy soon. help keep our chickens
( this may cause lots of trouble with our chickens temporarily but I the long term this puppy will hopefully help keep our chickens safe)

(7) I was having trouble with wry neck in some sad ducklings our friend did not want
