Chirping
hello everyone,
I hatched out a dozen eggs recently, (12-12 by the way 100% hatch shipped from Florida to New York) and they really do seem to be doing very well accept for 1 of them has crusty eyes that keep getting so crusty that usually once a day I have to wipe a warm wet towel across the eyes and use q tips to try and get the crust out of the eyeball. I have been doing this since 24 hours after hatch and were on day 3 now. Not sure what it could be, so I removed the chick and placed it in the brooder I have in the garage. I separated it because I don't know if it is an infection or just stuff still stuck on it from the egg. Chick eats and drinks, acts pretty normal. There is little sneezing but no discharge from the nose....
I'm hoping someone might be able to let me know their thoughts.
