1 eyed silkie!!!!!!

we went to a flea market monday and this guy gave us a free silkie because he was born with only 1 eye!!! he told us he was a rooster but he has a very very short comb. he looks very poorly treated. his wing feathears are almost pecked clean from other chickens. he seems to be doing better since we got him. he has not crowed since ive had him so im wondering if its a roo or hen?? i might can update and post a pic later...

The pic is a little blurry, but looks like it's a young boy. He doesn't look too bad. Just quarantine him for a month in case he has any diseases.

I had a one eyed roo once, he was a nice little guy. he lost his in a barnyard scuffle.....I called him Winky, LOL.
It looks like a little rooster you have there.....he should make a nice pet.
