1 month old chick with rectal prolapse

I just walked out into the coop for the first time this morning and one of my usually excited bundles was acting real down. As it turns out he's got a few inches of anus/small intestine hanging out. I'll try to get a picture posted, but he's small enough for me to hold with one hand still and it's at least an inch of tissue he's got pushed out. What can I do fro him? Please respond ASAP!

I got it all back in there this time, it looked like it was really fresh still and not at all dry, but I know this is prone to happening again. A detailed rundown of the best things to do would be awesome.
