Today was day 21......a few hours ago we had a darling chick hatched successfully, 2 are pipped and one is in the process of zipping. The other 11 are to follow, I held the flash light to them while taking out the egg turner (was out of town and forgot to do it over the weekend) and all 11 of the others are moving like crazy inside the shells, so hopefully all 15 of the 16 I set will hatch. I also have a goat in the barn in early labor, so running between the house and the barn tonight, it's going to be a looooong night!

Congrates on the hatching. Good luck with the goat. What kind of chicks are you hatching? Do you stare at the bator for hours on end waiting for "The" moment?

Yeahhhh on the new babies!!!! Sounds like you are a good farm mama running back and forth!!!! Congrats...
