1 out of 11 laying for past four days

One of my two Rhode Island Reds has been laying for the past four days. I have one more RIR and 10 Americaunas. They are all the same age. Is there an age difference in the two breeds laying????? Very curious and excited.

There's not only a difference between breeds, but a difference between individual birds. I have only one breed. Some of mine have been laying for 10 weeks now, others are just starting to show signs that they are getting close.
