I placed 13 eggs in incubator 9 days ago. Last night I candled all 13. I can see movement in 1 egg. Though I can't see any veining. I can not see anything in any of the others. Should I wait a few more days and check again before removing the others? Temp is at 99.5 and humidity I try to keep between 30% and 50%.
Am I doing something wrong?

Do you have a separate calibrated thermometer and hygrometer? What is your temperature and humidity. Where did you get your eggs?

Did you check your roosters fertility rate before setting the eggs? I ask because I collected eggs thinking they would all be fertile but as it turned out 28 eggs from my hens we only had 11 that were fertile. One quit around day 8 so we have 10 of our own and 5 from our neighbor.

I honesty know nothing about how to check fertility rate on a rooster. Or of the eggs. He came from a friend who had success with him and the hens. I see him cover the hens. I know not all will be fertile, but I was hoping for more than just 1. Lol
