1 week old chicks how much room?

hello i have 30 1 week old chicks there doing great, im just wondering how much space they need now? i have them in a 100 gallon horse waterer just like they have at tsc, im just wondering how long they can stay in there? asw active as they are now it seems they need more room? also its been in the 80s and 90s now in michigan should i leave a heat lamp on? or leave it off when its hot and on at night? thanks for the info!

Chicks' brooder space requirements are:

Up to 2 weeks: 0.5 sq ft per chick
2-4 weeks: 1 sq ft per chick
4-8 weeks: 2.5 sq ft per chick
over 8 weeks: 4 sq ft per chick
