I have a 1week old duck. I hatched it and 5 others. This one had a rough start and after day 3 showed promising signs of life. Well, it still had a bit of the egg still attached. I've been working on it daily, but today it kinda popped off and what looks like nasty yellow infection came to follow. I should add that it is half the size of the others and they are all from the same duck mates. I slowly pushed out as much as I could. Gave the cutie a break and I'm now trying to address this wound. What antibiotics could I give it and how much. Also, I'll be using betadine to flush wound, what else should I apply to the wound?
