1 year old hen head ; molting?

This is a photo of my one year old Hen, her head has been like this for more than 3 weeks. Is this molting? Is she being pecked? Is this something I need to be concerned about? first time chicken owner and I appreciate everyone’s help!

Yes I have a rooster that’s a year and a half that has been getting very aggressive, that’s what I was afraid of!

Yes he has been trying to jump and claw me so I was afraid he might be doing this to her. Anything I can do other than get rid of him?

yes it may mean getting him into another coop for rest of the girls
he may grow up quit that

Not molting. He is being aggressive with mating. I have a pullet that looks way worse than that, which I thought may have been grabbed by a raccoon but it was from the cockerel.

Yeah, it looks like it's from the rooster.

I have 6 hens to one cockerel

Set him up in another coop for a month then watch him close or get rid of him
