Recently, I picked up 3 splash Silkies, supposedly hens, who were destined to be meat birds if you can believe it. They are supposedly one year old.
They look pretty rough physically (broken beaks, dirty) and certainly don’t love humans so I tried to get some pictures without stressing them out much. I am pretty sure two are hens, but one looks like a rooster to my untrained eye. Two had pelvic bones around 2 fingers apart, and the third had pelvic bones at 1 finger apart. They also don’t vocalize almost ever. I would love some opinions on sex! Thanks for your help!
