1 YO Blue Andalusian Hen Needs Rehomed. Gaston, OR

Hi everybody,

I hate to do it but I have a beautiful 1 year Blue Andalusian Hen that I need to rehome. She has started beating up the rest of my flock and is particularly nasty to my little Black Copper Maran and now beating up my EE as well.

She lays large white delicious eggs, every other day. I am getting ready to add 3 more newbies to my flock this spring and I know she will not do well with them.

I live in the Willamette Valley, 97119 area code of Oregon and I'm willing to drive an hour to take her to her new home if needed.
If anyone is interested, please message me and you may have my Dillie for free. I don't want to cull her. She is a very beautiful bird.

Thanks all. I have put peepers aka blinders in her to see if it helps. I am starting to see feather pins on my black copper Maran now which tells me that the assaults may be diminishing from the BA hen. My EE is also getting her tail feathers back. Hoping this continues so they both can heal up.
However, I am going to keep this here because if I can find her a good home and she doesn't have to have peepers on then that would be great. In the meantime, she lives and thrives in a healthy and safe home with us. Thanks again!

The peepers worked. 2 months of peepers and bully behavior is gone. Yea!!! Now if I can only get my BCM to stop ripping out her OWN feathers. She looks horrible. I paid $14 for this girl when she was a day old. She is the smallest, puniest and ugliest hen ever. Compared to my BA, EE and Plymouth. Who are gigantic and each cost me $2. Lol.
Any ideas on how to get her to stop plucking herself. Lol. Everyone is healthy and no lice or mites issue. I think she is neurotic.
