I have a 1 year old hen (Andalusian) who for the past week I have noticed will at times lower her head down a bit and walk backwards a few steps. Mostly though, she looks perfectly normal and walks straight with her head up. She is eating and drinking and pooping. It's obvious something is wrong with her, but I don't know what.

Help please :)

Has she laid an egg this week?

She might have a slight case of wry neck which is a neurological symptom of vitamin deficiency, head injury, or from many diseases and problems affecting the brain. They can have a twisted neck, and can walk in circles or backward. It can be treated with vitamin E and Selenium which are found in Poultry Nutri-drench. Egg, tuna, and sunflower seeds contain selenium, so you can also use a powder poultry vitamin containing E and give one of those for selenium. As long as she is eating and drinking enough, and not being bullied, she can remain with the flock. Here is some info about wry neck:

Thank you for the info! She was laying an egg when I cleaned out the coop today. Thank you for the information on wry neck. I will check it out. Whatever it is, it isn't severe and I've noticed it throughout this last week. I will give her some nutridrench and they already get sunflower seeds for a snack :)
