Greetings! We are currently taking orders for started Rose comb Ancona chicks. Chicks will be 4 to 5 weeks of age at time of shipment. All chicks are toe-punched to mark their lineage and to aid in future pairings.
Anconas are a beautiful breed that stand confinement well, but that also look lovely on free-range. With free-range the will forage most of their keep with minimal grain offerings.
They lay consistenty, and spatch-cocked cockerels are delicious on the grill with homemade BBQ sauce.
We are pleased with our breeding progress and showed them for the first time in 2011 where they were well received.
