10 week old Easter Egger

I think she's a he. My other easter rooster had the same kind of crown at this age too.

Wow, wasn't expecting that. Her comb starting turning red two weeks ago and her comb is getting reder. And her back tail feathers are very long and straight up.

She's the blurred head, but look how long her back tail feathers are

These two are causing me trouble. They never want to roost with the other chickens. If its warm out they will stay outside and roost. Now that is chilly out they keep roosting in the nest boxes. So when that one comb started turning red and getting redder, I thought, ah rooster, and that's why they keep them self separated from the others. Because she's a he and wants his own lady to himself. But now I'm going to have to figure out how to keep them out of the nest boxes.

When does a rooster first crow? The second picture of my easter egger rooster, he hasn't crowded yet and he's about 5 months.
