104 degrees

that happened to me my last hatch. it actually got up to 106 once and 109 once. I only had 3 out of 15 hatch and they were probably on the outside and cooler (I don't have a fan).

Adjust the temps down a tad and hope for the best. Is the incubator in a room that keeps a steady temperature ??

For instance the temps in the kitchen change constantly when the stove is on so that is a bad room for an incubator. We use wood for heat so I try to keep it in the bedroom farthest from the woodstove so it is more even keel.

Its in the living room and the temps usually are not crazy.
Oh well it is down now to 101 and I hope they are ok. I guess I will find out on Sat when I candle them.

I saw your topic and thought "uh oh". I would say anything 105 and over is deadly. But 104 for too long can damage them, so I would definitely candle on the designated day and rule out the ones that may have gotten hurt. You still have a chance tho. Keeping my fingers crossed that they're ok.

No, I would say in a still air you are probably okay. My still air had to be at 103.2 to get my weasel to 99.5. Having it that high was the only times I got great hatches!
