Egads. It got cold in the house last night, lowering the 'bator a degree or two. At, 2:15am I slightly adjusted the temp, checked the temp at 2:55, and went back to bed. This morning at 5:45, the temperature was 104. What can I expect? Complete failure? Maybe some success?

Thanks for any replies. I'm new at incubating/hatching. FYI, the Little Giant still-air incubator is a pain in the you-know-what. If this batch does hatch, nature has brought on broodiness in my Bantam Cochin and Marans. We'll try again the natural way!

I had some short term temp spikes in my incubator too up to 104. So far 6 chicks have hatched just fine so don't give up on them. I also used
a LG still air but I am happy with my so far 60% hatch. I will def use it again!

Thank you, cestial225. I want to remain hopeful. Time will tell. Glad to hear that you have chicks from your batch!
