11 eggs from 27 golden comets

Last night the wind blew the coop hatch closed and some chckens slept out. I opened it this a.m and they all came in fine ready to lay weirdly we only got 11 eggs where we have been getting double that. Any ideas?

Some might've laid early that morning and laid outside. I know mine usually drop by 1/2 around Nov. 1st until I pit artificial lighting in

How old are they?
If pullets (under a year old), could just be stress from being locked out, they should resume within a few days.
