I had this question posted in the wrong forum and only got one reply from Joecool1994 who couldn't tell because the color wasn't as red and Randys who posted a picture of his rooster of the same age. Randys was easy to spot as a Rooster, but mine is somewhere in the middle. (thank you Randys for your picture to compare)
The comb is the same size as the three other hens. What throws me is it grew wattles. It is not as big or as red as the picture Randys provided. Perhaps someone out there who has experience with Rhode Island Reds can tell me if this is a slow developing Rooster or an rare occurrence for Hens at this age.
11 WEEK CHICKEN IN QUESTION

The above is the RIR I am questioning if a Rooster or Hen.
Below is a picture that Randy provided of his Rooster of the same age:
RANDYS 11 WK ROOSTER
So you can see why I am so confused. If my Rooster/Hen looked like this picture, I would know it was a Rooster. But as you can see from the above 3 pictures, it is confusing.
Please give me your opinion if the chicken in the above 3 pictures, not the last/4th picture, is a hen or rooster. Thank you.
