12-14 week pullet voice change?

Is it normal for young hen to have lower voice around 12-14 weeks? I thought I read and heard this beofre but it has been awhile. Just making sure not a medical issue. Thank you

Yup, they're maturing. Their voices will deepen as they get older and become more like a grown chicken's squawks instead of a baby chick's peeps. And then there is that 'in between' phase, half peep and half squawk.

Ok thank you. One is a little older than the others and she just sounds so funny, almost like a duck, compared to the other little peeps!
