Hi Folks! Rebel Roo Here

In this auction we're offering our Heritage Barred Rock hatching eggs. We've been blessed with some really great birds here! These birds are beautiful and extremely gentle... they are also some of the best layers that we have on the farm! You won't be disappointed with any of our birds here at Rush Lane Poultry... If u win this auction, I'll send u 18 of our Barred Rock Hatching Eggs! We double box all egg shipments.

I just might have to get these again! First time ever that all the eggs developed. My incubator went all screwy on me and the temps were messed up for days.

Looks like I may only end up with only three out of the whole batch. The chicks that have survived are very active and healthy. Let me see if I can work this out.

Oh man! I hate that the bator messed up! Holy cow, that brings back some bad memories for me as well! We lost some "high dollar" eggs to technical difficulties a couple years ago when I first started building my own bators... hate when that happens...

Are these heritage small flock breed (as in will still set on eggs and go broody)? Or run down from hatchery lines where they lay well but wont sit?

I've been real careful selecting my BRs over the last 3 years... They are heritage and they go broody all the time.

Hrmmm I may be interested in them especially started pullets. None of my Barred rocks have ever gone broody. almost like leghorns now but nicer.

I am in eastern central SC only 30 mins NE of Columbia outside the little town of Camden... I'm just over 3 miles from I-20... And I do have a few 7 to 8 week old BR pullets started.

I travel to columbia at least 1x a month. I may be interested in some started pullets. It is a tough call to add new hens to a closed flock tho.....
