I have a 12 day old cream legbar chick that I hatched on March 17th. She has been just fine until this morning, now acting very tired and lethargic. When I picked her up, some water kind of came out of her mouth, then she acted like she was trying to swallow (like she had just gotten a drink). I then rubbed her breast area (thinking maybe she had something stuck) and more water bubbled out, so I tipped her over to get it all out (little more came up). I put her down and some yellowish pee type liquid came out her back end (not poop). She is still not acting any better. I don't know what else to do?!

Is she on a medicated feed? Still learning myself, but the first thing that always comes to mind with chicks is coccidia.

Has she been around older chickens, or has she been exposed to soil yet? She is a bit young for coccidiosis, but she has symptoms, so she might need to be treated for it with Corid. Could she have eaten pine shavings? Shipping stress, pasty butt, and impacted crop are common with chicks under 10 days, and later on cocci is the big illness until them are immune to it.
