As I'm sitting in coop enjoying some chicken TV, the little ones got all excited and started chirping like crazy, I look to see what's going on and see a big spider(common house spider) running for its life. Those babies were on it, one of the RIR got it and the keep away game started! Funniest thing I have ever seen, she ran dodging all her flock mates, they are fast and turn on a dime! A few times another chick would grab it and a tug a war game started, eventually the spider got ripped apart and ate by a few of the babies! It was crazy and very entertaining. Wish I had my phone at the time to record it all. I did make this little video after the commotion was over. They were still excited and picking up bedding and running with it. The Littles are in a separate brooder in the coop and they can see the big girls(9 wk olds) through the fencing separating them. I think the big girls were jealous of their spider snack.
