So it's our first attempt at incubating eggs. We are on day 7. I candled them and got 12 positive with 3 maybes because the shells are too dark and 2 that I'm pretty sure nothing is going on inside but will wait another day or two before I remove them.

Dark room and 500 lumen flashlight really helps.

I don't toss eggs until day 10 candling, it's very obvious then.

Just re-candled the questionable eggs and all seem viable except 1. So 17 out of eighteen are alive as of today.
