You will get a variety of our polish. We have buff laced, golden, silver laced, and WC black. There will be some purebred, and others mixed colors!

I see a non-bearded male Silver Laced and a bearded Silver Laced - Do you mix that, too? Do you have photos of the laced hens?

Bearded/muffed genes are dominant, yes, but I'd prefer to have fully bearded offspring.

Just one pairing of birds missing the gene but still expressing it, and clean faced will pop up.

How old are the females laying the eggs? The cockerels look young; The eggs aren't pullet eggs, yes?

I didnt know that about the beards being dominant among the birds! Learn something new every day... They are young, a year old next month... We're getting eggs like crazy out of them right now.. What do you mean by pullet eggs? Ive never heard that phrase before!

A female chicken under the age of 1 year is a pullet. Pullets tend to lay much smaller eggs than full grown hens, thus the chicks inside sometimes have issues. It isn't a huge deal to most people, and a pretty important thing to avoid with others.

I really like the bearded Silver Laced hen in there, but I don't want to find myself hatching out mostly clean-faced or partially bearded Polish.

I understand! Even though these gals are less than a year, they are laying HUGE eggs! I couldnt believe how much bigger these gals eggs are compared to my polish hens last year... I only had a few white crested black ladies last year, and their eggs were the constant source of jokes for my parents...They called em 'baby eggs' or 'diet eggs'... Then, these started laying and Ive been totally blown away!

I enjoy the buff colors. Silver laced Polish are one of my favorites. One looked very black and less laced.

Do you have more pics?
