These little guys (and gals) will be three weeks old next week. I still have them indoors and easing them off a heat lamp. Will be medium-standard size, very hardy, great egg layers, docile. Their feathers are beginning to come out and some appear to be a cream/buff/gold color others are a rust/brown partridge color. Most (if not all) are booted (feather legged), muffs (cheeks), bearded and will have a nice crest atop their head. I would like all 12 to go together but not necessary. These chicks are a hybrid from cream Brabanter (very rare) hens and Silkie roosters and will most certainly be eye catching chickens.

Thanks. I was not expecting to hatch so many but... This is my first hatch with them, others hatched some last year. The few photos that were sent to me last fall showed the Silkie x Brabanter hybrids grew into adulthood to look similar to the Sultan or Polish breeds. I have to say, I do love the coloring on these little ones I have.

Yes,the coloring is nice ,looks like they will be Gorgeous !

LOL, I know to well about the not meaning to hatch that many ...... Its just so addictive once you start.
