I am a 1 st time chicken raiser, so maybe this is a really dump question. I have 10 RIR and 2 ???? 1 of my RIR is always walking around with her mouth half open. She doesnt pant or act hot, just never closes it.
We have only had one day above 90 and the rest of our days are low to mid 80's with a breeze.
They have a nice coop and run with lots of shade.
The only time I see her with it closed is when she eats or drinks. Even at night on the roost, it stays half open. It doesnt look broke or anything, just always open.
