Hi guys and girls, I am not sure if this is permitted on this page so Admin please removed if you need to.
I am located in Australia and so this post is only really relevant to the Aussie BYC members although its a great idea for everyone if you can locate them in your own country's.

A while back I bought some 12v LED strips to use when the family goes camping and they were excellent so I decided to start selling them on eBay and through Facebook. I recently have been selling a few to Chicken Breeders. They use them in the Coops to increase the chickens daylight hours. That got me thinking that they would be great for Aviary's, Storage areas, Sheds etc.
They are very versatile and can be used for other purposes like Gazebos, Tents, Utes, Caravans, Workbenches... pretty much any purpose where you need to light up an area.
The LED strips are completely waterproof and are suitable for outdoor use.
They come in Warm white or Cool white with either a clear lens or Fog lens.
There are 36x 5630 type LED's on each 50cm Strip, these are really bright.
The 50cm strip is mounted to a rigid aluminum extrusion with mounting clips so you can easily mount them to most surfaces.
I do sell a Wireless dimmer which comes with a remote, this allows you to turn on/off the LED's and dim them from a distance of up to 5-10m.
These LED Strips draw approx 1amp per strip so can easily be powered by a 12V battery. You would get approx 15 hours of light from a fully charged 1200mAh battery.
I also sell the Plug Packs that convert 240V to 12V so you can power them off a normal power socket.
I sell these for $10.00 for each 50cm Strip.
If they are going to be exposed to water I sell them with waterproof connectors attached and these are $15.00 each.
If you are interested in more information please PM me.
I am in Melbourne, Australia and are happy to post to anywhere in Australia.
