Just a reminder, do not Jerry rig heat for your chickens. They really don’t need heat, and most chicken houses are very flammable!

Chickens really need wind protection and to be kept as dry as a possible.
The sun is shining and mine will be outside soon.

We do not use heat either. Too many fires from trying to keep chickens warm. That's why chickens have a lovely downy jacket of feathers. They are warmer than we think.
