I have 13 broody hens, and they are driving me crazy!!!!!!!!!
I do not need them to be broody that is why I have the incubator. The more I kick them off the next day there are 2 more to take their place........... So yesterday I took all 13 of them and put them in a pen by themselves and gave them roosting poles and a couple dog houses to sleep in... As of yesterday evening they were happy as larks eating, and dusting. I fed them this morning and still they are not broody in that pen.......yeah!
How long do I need to leave them in that pen before I can put them in them big pen again, I was thinking a maybe 5-6 days, do you think this is sufficient? Thanks!
And people say they want broody hens,,,,,,(including me) but not 13 at a time......Under do it, or over do it! lol
