13 days into incubation

ok I'm 13 days into incubation, what do I need to look for, I've watched YouTube videos but all they want to show you is chicks hatching. Can anyone post an informations video or a pic of a healthy day 13 chick.

Type your request in the "advanced search" box at the top of this page (stages of development). You should get posts that have pictures of eggs at different points of development.

I just had to put my nose in and add I'm on day 14 today

oh if you Google day 13 egg candleing you will get stuff to pop up.

Lol @sarafena1982 , it's awesome that we both are icubating eggs at the same exact time, I posted this morning when my incubator hadn't added the day yet. Now my incubator is on day 14!

I googled and results came up just fine thanks!!!
Side Note: I'm incubating 8 eggs, 7 of which have definite movement. The eggs are 2 pure jersey giant, 4 jersey giant-rhode island Red Cross, and 2 silky-red sex link cross. I can wait to see what the silky cross is, but the one egg that isn't developing is one of the silky-red sex links.

keeping my fingers crossed for a pullet!!

This is also my first batch of eggs and can't wait to see results!!!

I only put 2 in the incubator. To see what mine would come out looking like. And not have my hubby kill me for incubating again. The hen is a splash cochin bantam and the dad is a silver duckwing. Both my babies are dancing away in their eggs. I'm so excited.

Thanks here is my two early birds, they hatched a few hours ago, one had a bit of eggshell on him if you notice. I had to help him out, he had a white puss come out of his egg and that set like concrete. He was stuck and struggled, I waited overnight, and helped him in the morning, he has been weak with burst of energy and drinks water and peck curiously at food.

Awwwwie so sweet!!!! Both mine made it to day 22 then died.

I don't get it when they both developed to day 18.
