13 hens one rooster

Pretty sure we have 13 hens
positive one roo
I feel like 4 nesting boxes will
do the job. Do ya'll think we
need more?

Should be fine and normally they will all lay in just a couple boxes anyway.... Least that is how it goes in our flocks.

That should be sufficient for 12 hens. They tend to follow the fashion trends and like to use places preferred by their flockmates. You may find most of their eggs in only 2 or 3 of the available boxes. If you find eggs being left in other places besides the boxes, you can then add more.
